Next week

boring week.  Watching Jerry Springer while doing a load of laundry.  Rained again SU so no biking but did get in a 38mi (short) on SA.  Still physical therapy on shoulder (none today - therapist sick). 2 more treatments and then the end.  Still a little sore but range of motion is getting better.  Has not hampered too many duties/fun things to do.  Dust Bunny got a good health checkup last week.  Vet had fun getting blood (2 person job). The Dust Bunny likes to hide under blankets for the exam, but does get forced out for the blood draw.  I guess more work, few plays and NO hockey until September.  All for this week

Hockey

Allen Americans win the Kelly Cup.  That is the ECHL "Stanley Cup".  The game was a standing room only event.  AA won 6:1.  This was game 7 of the series.  The person for whom the cup is named presented the trophy last night.  He played hockey and started the league many years ago - kinda interesting.  This is a third straight Champshionship for the Americans.  CHL last 2 years and the CHL and ECHL merged this year.  So we have another banner for the rafters of the arena.
Other than this it has been pretty boring here in Big R.  Same on
Led stuff working, biking, etc. etc.

Hot

Well the rain stopped and the heat is starting.  In the low 90's over the weekend and now have to get used to the while riding.  AC's getting a tune up.  One had a blown capacitor and the other needed a new motor in the outside unit ( being installed today).  Happy to have lots to do away from the houe as upstairs was hot.  Still getting physical. There. On the left shoulder but not interfering to much in activities.  Allen Americans are 2:2 with the SC Stingrays.  More of the same for the rest of the week.

Ark not needed

finally stopped raining SA.  Got to ride on SU.  Rode by the "comic.com" exhibition at the convention center.  Wierd  people dressed up as different characters from the comics, movies, etc.  but then there were wierdly dressed bicyclists watching them.  Did not pay to go in just watched them entering the building.  Then off to see one of the lakes and the flooding.  I know if you are watching any TV you have seen the overflowing rivers, lakes etc as this has been the wettest May in recorded history.  Over 17 inches of rain officially at the airport but lots more in different gauges in the area.  All lakes in the area are over full by May inches and that means releasing the water downstream. Etc. etc.  no Iran forecast for the week and hopefully they are right.  Need to get back on the bike. Not much else until next week.
