The Ac/Food provider left the computer on again. Just quick update - every one is OK in big R. It is getting warmer down here and is raining again. No bike riding the last two weekends as too much rain. We have started the ark in the back yard and will be taking only 2 on board - naturally me and someone to supply the comforts of home.
I finally shamed him into turing on the AC. The upstairs is carpeted except for the bathroom. I started staying downstairs on the tile (much cooler than upstairs) of if I graced him with my presence I would lie on the tile in the bathroom and just have as little of my feet on the carpet. From his chair all he could see were 4 little feet on the carpet. Now that the AC is on I come out and sleep in my chair or on the floor behind him. I'll see if he will take a picture and will post it.
I saw an e-mail to one of his symphony mates and they saw the 5 Browns last night. The Dallas Moring News writer summed it up this way -
"It's been a while since I've heard such a perfectly played – and perfectly boring – performance." and "If these handsome players can entice teenagers to the rigors of practice, and introduce the beauty of the music, then even an indifferent performance can serve a purpose."
I think he and his friends left at half-time.
He also was at the Dallas Theater Center on Thurs to see "Sarah, Plain and Tall" and he liked that one.
