Theater Visits

Still attending the theater and saw "I Love You, Your Perfect, Now Change" for the 3rd time this run. Now I really don't enjoy it at all. Also saw "In the Beginning" a presentation of the 1st 10 chapters of Genesis. Had an audience discussion at the end and was well done and very interesting and took care of the church visit for the week. The advisers for the play were scientists, theologians, ministers, etc.
Have signed up the several performances in the Water Tower's "Out of the Loop Festival". Here is the website to see the plays being presented if interested http://www.watertowertheatre.org/ Some are first run, some off the wall, and hopefully fun as this is the first year I signed for these. You buy a pass (make reservations) and then you can see them all if your schedule permits. One Saturday I start at 5pm and end around 12 Midnight (3 performances with dinner in between)

No New Pictures

I know a couple of readers will not understand this. The 2 I'm talking about repair cars (Miatas) and re-roof houses or build chicken coops in MI. My Miata had a noise coming from the drivers rear side and was getting worse and I was afraid to drive it thinking it was a suspension problem, etc.etc. Thinking I would have to take a 2nd mortgage to get it fixed I had left it parked in the garage for a couple of weeks. Stopped by the Miata place last week and make an appointment for this am. Took the car in but on the way stopped and looked in the trunk to see if anything was moving around causing the sounds - just a coat and a bag for transporting the Dust Bunny in and out of the vets - she rides loose in the car so she can look out the windows or the back shelf. Nothing loose and explained the problem to the service person. Also ask for an oil change at the same visit. The ride home would be a while so the service person said they could probably have the diagnosis made before I needed a ride home. 20-25 minutes later the service person (Penny) came and ask when I had used the jack last time. I have only changed 1 tire in the 11 years I've had the car - so a long time. The technician had found loose jack after looking at the suspension etc. etc. They did not charge me for the loose jack tightening and I left without the 2nd mortgage. YEAH YEAH!!!!

A little history with Penny - at one time after service and paying the bill, the car was in the driveway at the dealership. As I left the showroom I immediately turned around and told Penny that was not my car in the driveway. She immediately looked in the computer with a confused look on her face and then said "We have washed you car" Ha Ha Ha

Another picture

Here is the house W will be living in. It will be closely guarded after he moves in. I am not in this picture as I was in Houston. The riders thought they heard helicopters in the area and unmarked cars patrolling. (just kidding) this will be off limits to all but the neighbors in a few weeks. The house next door is for the Secret Service. I have shown this house to several people in then last few weeks after the address was published in the Dallas Morning News. One of the neighbors is Tom Hicks owner of the TX Rangers and the DALLAS STARS.

Bumper Sticker From MI

After the Coronation - the frozen brain in MI sent me this and I think he forwarded to others but I just thought I should/would put it here

What's going On

Busy Seek - In Houston for the Trockadero Ballet and again Saturday night. Hockey on Tuesday, Friday and again Sunday. DSO last night with the orchestra members being the soloists. Interesting performances. Off today. Did I mention (memory problems as I get older) that SeniorMed laid off 7 people 2 weeks ago and reduced one part time RPh hours. I was asked how many hours I needed to work to keep me from leaving. Now 30 for the next 4 weeks then who knows. Might be beggting for a stall in the barn in MI. I'll have to snuggle with the sheep for warmth. Here is the website (http://www.trockadero.org/)for the ballet - very interesting.
This will be my 5th time seeing them. Jaason/Heather saw them in BR a couple of years ago. Lela and Doug would not go when they were in Naptown.
Enuff for now - just to left everyone know I'm still kicking. Will ride this weekend and will be in the 70's (heat wave for MI) but will still be wearing windbreakers here in Big D/R
