YEAH

Back in the + side in the STARS vs Dead Wings “bet”. STARS won SA splitting the games with the Dead Wings (had to say it splitting the series to keep the frozen brain in MI quieter).  STARS have 10 of the next 13 games at home so lots more hockey.  Have a game tonight as that keeps lots of people off the roads/out of bars (at least til later) NY eve.  It is tuff having 5 days off each week instead of the normal 4.  Off to take a nap so I can stay up later tonight.

Hockey

This last week was 6 hockey games. 3 STARS, 3Americans.  Hockeyed out. Now for a rest until NewYears Eve.  Getting to be winter in TX. Temps in the 30-40’s.  Work as usual and nothing new.  Vet had me check Dust Bunny for hypertension.  Fun procedure and she handled it well and no problems.  Vet said Dust Bunny must have thought her owner had lost his marbles-correct diagnosis.

Thanksgiving

Another fun Thanksgiving at the Monestary with Chip aka Dee.  Lots of food, ice cream, apple pie but NO rhubarb this year BOOOOO.  Picked up stuff from the store etc.  Trip back was eventful.  IH 40 one lane closed both ways around Schreveport with 5 mile back up.  3 accidents from there to Dallas but traffic was moving so not too bad.  Worst trip back.  Dust Bunny was happy to see me.  One of the seals on the windshield came loose - made a weird noise so I duck-taped to get back.  On to the Ford dealer in the morning.  Calling in an excuse I have never heard before in all my years.  Other than that no problems.

BRRRRRRRRRR

Cold rain and maybe snow flurries.  Did not ride  - too cold.  STARS are doing OK could be better but fun to watch.  Allen Americans are off to a really bad start.  I think have  only won one game.  Off to  STARS game tonight.  Cancelled the Veterans Day Parade raining.  Normally a bunch of us ride tot the parade, watch and then go to a free lunch at one of the restaurants that give free food to veterans.  Getting ready for GA next week

Not much new

Has stopped raining until WE when a little more is coming. STARS lost 4 in a row so the $ headed to MI.  Only saving more $ going north is DEAD WINGS keep losing.  2 STARS games this week then on the road.  The Allen team is not doing well this year so far, hoping for the best.  Off to vote this am.  All for now

More Rain

I wish it would stop.  Rained SA,SU,MO,TU forecast.  Creeks really high and no bike riding.  Hockey has been fun as the STARS are 3:1.  Road games tonight and tomorrow and we’ll see how those go.  Have had sold out arena but not attended out arena but good to see the people attending.  Back to work tomorrow. Wet

Wettest Sep. in history.  Had approx. 7 in of rain in 24 hrs.  So no riding bicycles - needed a boat.  Saw dermatologist this am and used liquid N2 to freeze a couple of “ things” off. Good for another year.  STARS this pm - more pre-season.  Real schedule starts next week.  Nothing else new that I can remember. Have to start writing new stuff down to remember longer than 12 hrs
